Job Type:  FULL-TIME PERMANENT
Starting wage:  $18 to $25/hr depending on you and your experience

Although experience is preferred, we will train you if we feel you are the right candidate.

Contents Restoration Technicians pack, clean and unpack damaged furniture, household items, documents and artwork for residential and commercial clients.  Also assist in cleaning job sites, completing necessary paperwork and maintaining a clean and safe warehouse where cleaning production takes place.

  • You are  positive, youthful in nature and friendly
  • You possess excellent customer service skills
  • You have strong written and verbal communication abilities
  • You have a valid BC Driver’s License
  • You are available for on call work (overtime rates)
  • IICRC Certification would also be an asset
  • You are also able to pass a background check as it relates to employment

Main Duties

  • Pack and protect and customer’s contents
  • Clean smoke residue from contents and structure
  • Follow procedures for cleaning structure and contents, and handling customer’s possessions
  • Keep the job site clean at the end of the day
  • Organize and remove all cleaning tools and supplies from the property
  • Follow warehouse procedures for cleaning, handling and storing contents
  • Repack contents after they have been cleaned and sanitized
  • Daily completion paperwork, time-cards, file claim forms and other necessary documentation
  • Janitorial work as requested 

Job Requirements

  • Being available for routine on call emergency services and after-hours work
  • Updating production management on any changes on the job

Working Conditions

  • Employees will be safely working with cleaning, deodorization and antimicrobial products on a daily basis. Gloves, respirators and splash goggles are provided
  • Employees may be required routinely to climb ladders and work in high places
  • The work-space may be contaminated with heavy smoke residue, mold and mildew, contaminated water or other unsanitary conditions. Protective gear is recommended and is required on some heavily contaminated work sites
